
Information Technology Practitioner of the Year
The winner of this award will be working at manager level or higher. He/She will be a respected information technology practitioner, and demonstrate excellence in high achievement in their field of expertise.

- Supported by their CEO; Must be currently working in public service or have worked in public service during the preceding financial year.

How to nominate for this award:
- Ensure you have carefully read the general How to Nominate page (in particular the Nomination Checklist)
- Download and complete the Award Assessment Criteria Document (see below)
- Upload the completed Assessment Criteria with a brief summary statement (100 words) and details of at least one referee to the Online Entry Form.
Criteria
- C1: Provide a summary of the nominee’s initiatives and achievements in the workplace, including an overview of the outcomes / impacts of these initiatives and achievements.
NB: Judges will be looking for how the nominee has contributed to the outcomes of the organisation and any innovative practices
- C2: Submit a summary statement from the nominee’s Manager and / or CEO demonstrating the qualities they bring to the position and reason for nomination.
