Council Nominations Open

Dear Members,

The Western Australia Institute of Public Administration (IPAA WA) is pleased to announce nominations are now open for the 2017 Council Election.

The purpose of our Council election is to offer Personal Members an even greater opportunity to contribute their expertise and experience to the development and success of the Institute. Each year, a number of positions on our Council are declared vacant and members are invited to nominate for them. This system ensures the continuity of operations, allows for fresh ideas and helps drive the strategic direction of the Institute.

During the 2017 Council Election period the following positions will be vacant:

  • President (1 Position)
  • Vice President (1 Position)
  • Secretary (1 Position)
  • Treasurer (1 Position)
  • Council Member (2 Positions)

Please note that the closing date for nominations is COB Friday 22 September 2017. A confirmation of your nomination will be emailed to you by 5:00PM on Friday 22 September 2017. If you have not received a confirmation email from us by this time and date, please contact us before 9:00AM, Tuesday 26 September to confirm that your nomination has been successfully received.

Should there be more nominations than available positions; a vote will be held at the Annual General Meeting on the 26 October 2017, as per the rules of the Association.
