IPAA WA 2016 Academic Sundowner

Events - 5 Apr 2016

As the new university year gathers momentum, delegates took time to meet or reconnect with like-minded academics at a free networking event hosted by the Institute of Public Administration Australia – WA Division (IPAA).

IPAA was established in 1945 and is the only professional association for the public sector in Western Australia. It aims to encourage the sharing of ideas and knowledge relating to public policy, administration and management. It enables those with an interest in public administration, public sector service delivery and public sector reform to exchange ideas on trends, practices and innovations.

One of the main roles of IPAA is to connect people and ideas by providing networking opportunities across all levels of government, academia and industry. This networking event will bring together academics from all five Western Australian universities, and details of a new IPAA Research Day to be held later in 2016 will be announced.

So, whether you’re looking to reconnect with former colleagues, meet new research collaborators, find out what other Western Australian academics are working on, share your ideas for new projects, or just prefer face-to-face networking in the days of LinkedIn, this is the event for you!
