2019 IPAA WA State Budget Briefing

Events - 17 May 2019

As the State is starting to show tentative signs of a turn-around in its financial fortunes, this year's budget will now be under pressure from competing demands of increased spending and continued fiscal constraint.

Under Treasurer, Michael Barnes joined us to discuss more on the 2019/20 State Budget.

Ably MC’d by Mr Bill Scanlan, this year we also brought delegates a national perspective, with EY Chief Economist (Oceania) Jo Masters joining the Under Treasurer on a panel following the keynote presentation.

Most importantly, and unlike any other briefing on the budget, the session zerod in on what the budget means for the public sector.
