IPAA WA Young Professionals Head in New Direction

Following in the footsteps of IPAA VIC members, IPAA WA's young professionals have been re-branded as YIPAA (Young Institute of Public Administration Australia) members.

With the direction and guidance of the IPAA WA Young Professional Advisory Committee (YPAC), all young professional members will now be referred to as YIPAA's (formerly YP's).

Chair of the YPAC, Brett Osler said, "YIPAA reflects young IPAA members who are a vibrant membership that is growing in Western Australia. It also resonates better with our demographic and is a name with which our peers would seek to associate."

"Future YIPAA events will be targeted to reflect our young, vibrant and growing membership providing great opportunities for networking, professional development and social engagement with YIPAAs from across the sector."

What is a YIPAA?

A YIPAA is a young professional Individual member of IPAA WA (aged 35 years and under) and is part of a connected community of young professionals from across the public sector.

Does this change my membership?

No. You are still a young professional member, but you will be referred to as a YIPAA member.
