Awards to Recognise Public Service Excellence
The Western Australia Institute of Public Administration has today launched the 2012 Achievement Awards, designed to recognise individual and organisational excellence in public service.
Chief Executive Officer Alison Petrie said “as the peak professional association for the public sector, the Institute developed the Awards to recognise and value the hard work people in public service do.”
“The Awards will be judged by a panel of highly respected past and present public service leaders,” Mrs Petrie said.
The Awards are open to any employee or organisation that works in Western Australia in any tier of public service including Local; State; Federal; Not-For-Profit and the Academic sector.
There are a total of 14 Awards, nine open to individuals and five best practice awards for organisations.

1. Best Practice in Collaboration Between Government and Non Government Organisations
2. Best Practice in Collaboration Across Government Agencies in the Same Jurisdiction
Organisation Demonstrating Best Practice (2 Awards)
1. Organisation Demonstrating Best Practice in Corporate Social Values
2. Organisation Demonstrating Best Practice in Health & Wellbeing
