Each year the IPAA WA Public Service Young Professionals’ Conference provides a platform to discuss the important issues affecting young professionals and those who are early in their journey serving citizens.

The theme and program have been developed by the IPAA WA Young Professional Committee, for young professionals who work serving citizens across this vast state. The Committee is drawn from across all areas of public service, with members working across local, state, and commonwealth government and the community sector in Western Australia.

In 2024 the conference theme they have established is ‘The Power of You: Aspire and achieve’. The program will motivate and encourage young professionals to take the all-important ‘next steps’ in their career.

Whether you are a graduate, early or mid-career YP, unite with us as our speakers help navigate the journey of a professional career serving citizens. Through the experience, wisdom and captivating nature of our incredible line-up of speakers, the conference will explore the following topics:

  • The power of emotional intelligence
  • Career progression
  • Assertive, frank and fearless conversations
  • Managing wellness and mental health
  • Networking as a must in the sector

The conference will provide its trademark diverse range of relevant perspectives. A formulate that has seen satisfaction levels remain consistently high (+90%) even as the conference has grown to over 200 delegates in recent years.

You have the power; act now for yourself or the young professionals in your organisation. Join 300 of your peers in getting 2024 off to the strongest possible start.
