We provide opportunities for organisations to develop valued partnerships with the Institute, the peak professional body for WA’s public sector.
Our partnership program moves past the traditional ‘sponsorship’ relationship to build a true partnership between the Institute and your organisation. Our partnerships are built on an underlying philosophy of mutual benefit and common values.
Each partnership is developed in full and open consultation with both parties to ensure maximum benefit for both our members and partners.
If you would like to learn more about engaging with the public sector contact our Chief Executive Officer today on (08) 9360 1400 or use our contact form.
Curtin University
IPAA WA is proud to partner with the Curtin University Graduate School of Business this year to provide graduates of the IPAA WA Policy in Practice (PiP) program with one unit of Advanced Standing (optional unit), also known as credit or recognition of prior learning, across three Graduate School of Business programs.
We can connect you with the key decision makers and tomorrow’s public sector leaders.
Becoming a corporate, academic or industry partner is a unique opportunity to gain access to our members and a network of more than 50,000 people working across all three levels of the public sector in Western Australia.
Corporate partnerships primarily apply to private sector organisations partnering with the Institute, whereas academic and industry partnerships occur within the public sector and across educational institutions and other professional associations.
There is a wide range of benefits in partnering with us, including:
- Ability to align your organisation with the peak professional body for people working in all tiers of the public sector in WA.
- Exposure to our members, clients and key government decision makers through our range of publications and events.
- Opportunity to develop a true partnership with unique and customised benefits developed specifically for each partner.
The Institute is pleased to support a number of local, not-for-profit organisations and charities from across Australia. Our seminars and conferences are an ideal way to give exposure to the great work of these organisations.
Supporting Local Charities
Since July 2013, the Institute adopted a new Gift Policy. Instead of the traditional wine bottle as a gift for presenters at IPAA WA’s seminars, events and conferences, IPAA WA will now make a donation on behalf of its speakers to a charity.
We are proud to have supported the following charities:
- The Red Cross Typhoon Haiyan Appeal
- The Richmond Fellowship
- BrightBlue (Western Australia’s Police Commissioner)
- The Leprosy Mission
- Wilderness Society
- Beyondblue
- UnitingCare West Financial Counselling Service
