Minister for Planning Hon. John Day MLA delivered the opening keynote address for this seminar, describing the vision behind one of Perth’s big projects, the Perth Waterfront.
“Forward thinking plans will provide additional residential, commercial and tourism space in Perth’s CBD. Coordination and communication across agencies is crucial for the success of these big projects,” Minister Day said.
Using the Perth Waterfront as a catalyst for discussion of some of the broad issues it represents the seminar delivered a unique behind the scenes view of the public sector processes required to deliver big projects.
