About Mr Allan
Percy Allan AM, IPAA National President, is a visiting Professor at the Macquarie Graduate School of Management, and has been Secretary of the NSW Treasury (1985-94), Finance Director of the Boral Group (1994-96) and Chair of the Premier’s Council on the Cost & Quality of Government (1999-2007).
Percy Allan lives in Sydney and his consulting practice, Percy Allan & Associates Pty Ltd, advises on public policy, finance and management. He has helped national and local governments in China, India, Thailand and Indonesia overhaul their financial management. Recent Australian work includes a financial audit of the Northern Territory, a Commonwealth/State national inquiry into builders’ warranty insurance and a performance review of the Council of Macquarie University.
