Karen is a freelance editor and self-published author. She has been a copyeditor since 2011 in her business, Red Feather Publishing, after achieving a Diploma of Publishing (Professional Book Editing, Proofreading and Publishing).

Words are Karen’s medium. Be it reading, writing or playing, she loves creating, shaping and polishing manuscripts.  Karen has edited novels, non-fiction, memoirs, theses, resumes, websites, essays, film scripts, brochures and more.

Karen’s aim is that her editing makes the author a better writer.  She has also guided many clients through the self-publishing process and facilitates courses on how to self-publish.
